Best Fishing Times

These are the times that these particular fish are generally available. However, weather is a factor too. If it's stormy, it doesn't matter how many fish are laying on the bottom waiting to get caught, you can't get out there to find them!

The best weather usually occurs from mid-April through the end of June. Halibut are available all season long with the best months being April through July. Ling cod and other bottom fish are available all season long. Coho salmon are available in saltwater August through mid September with the peak in mid-August. King salmon are available all season long, primarily May, June and July.
